Shri Baburaoji Lahanuji Zade PRESIDENT
I have been teaching as a headmaster of Navpratibha High School for the last 50 years. I established Jeevanvikas Education Society in the year 1960 for providing education to the poor and less privileged students. The students who come to our school belong from the agricultural and labour class families. Such students usually don’t get proper educational facilities. I had this vision that our Jeevanvikas Education Society should be able to provide education from Kindergarten (K.G.) till Postgraduate level (P.G.). Therefore, we applied for a Mahavidyalaya in 2008 to R.T.M.N.U (Nagpur University) and got the permission for the same. The students who pass out from our Junior College usually take admission in NavpratibhaMahavidyalaya. I have had this vision for a long time that a student who comes to study in our primary school must study all the way till graduation. In particular, students from the backward classes should get quality education from our institutes was my primary motto. Hence, such students should be able to grab better job opportunities on their own and make their own living.
The Navpratibha Mahavidyalaya has made tremendous progress in such a short span of time. The college is currently functioning on a permanent non-grant basis, and has still managed to make its own name in the Nagpur education circle. Each year, the strength of our students is increasing with its rising popularity in social circles. The entire focus is upon creating employability centric opportunities for our students so that they can become self-dependent individuals and prosper in their chosen professions.
